Nana Sarfo Oduro says Didi Dramani knows True Life’s lineup by heart despite Hearts of Oak’ MTN FA Cup upset

Nana Sarfo Oduro has revealed that Hearts of Oak coach Didi Dramani knows True Life FC so well that he can name their starting lineup without seeing the team sheet, even after the club’s stunning MTN FA Cup defeat.

His remarks followed Hearts’ 1–0 loss to the Division Two side in the Round of 64 on Wednesday, a result that shocked many supporters.

Oduro, a Ghana Football Association Executive Council member, noted that the coach’s familiarity with True Life runs deep, suggesting a long-standing connection between the parties.

True Life struck in the 78th minute at the Kpobiman Sports Complex to secure a landmark win and send the record holders out of the competition.

Speaking on Asempa FM, Oduro emphasised Dramani’s knowledge of the club.

“I wouldn’t join people to blame Didi Dramani for Hearts of Oak’s MTN FA Cup exit, but he knows True Life in and out. Without looking at the team sheet, he can give you the lineup of True Life,” he said.

Dramani rotated his squad to give fringe players minutes, though the decision did not produce the desired impact.

The defeat marked the second time in three years that Hearts have been eliminated by lower-tier opposition at the same venue.
