Mas-Ud Didi Dramani: I am doing my best for Hearts of Oak

Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani insists he remains fully committed to his job despite the transfer ban imposed on the club by world football governing body FIFA.

The former Black Stars assistant was appointed ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, replacing Abubakar Ouattara on a two-year contract.

Dramani has faced early challenges in the role, including the club’s exit from the FA Cup. However, Hearts of Oak remain firmly in the Premier League title race. After 18 matches, the Phobians sit fifth on the table with 31 points, six adrift of leaders Medeama SC.

The club is currently barred from registering new players for the next three transfer windows after failing to settle outstanding debts owed to former technical director René Hiddink.

Speaking on Asempa FM, Dramani acknowledged the difficulties posed by the sanction but maintained that it has not affected his dedication to the team.

"I am doing my best for Hearts of Oak," he said. "I don't know how to pretend, and if I say I will not work with you, I will not, and if I say I will work with you, I will do it.

"I just don't know how to pretend. This is my apex as a coach, and this is my best I can do," he added.

After opening the second half of the season with a victory, Hearts of Oak will look to build momentum when they host Dreams FC on Sunday in their Matchday 19 fixture at the University of Ghana Stadium.
