England-born Ghanaian forward was on the scoresheet, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Rizespor from a 2-1 home defeat to Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.

The 23-year-old forward, on loan from Premier League outfit Crystal Palace started and played for 81 minutes as Rizespor succumbed to defeat in the round 9 fixture, held at the Çaykur Didi Stadyumu.

Despite the loss, the talented English-Ghanaian forward was one of the standout performers for the home side.

Trabzonspor took the lead with Felipe Augusto scoring just two minutes into the game before Nigeria international Paul Onuachu doubled the visitors lead in the 19th-minute, assisted by  Christ Inao Oulai

In the 27th-minute, the English-Ghanaian attacker scored to pull one back for Rizespor. However, his goal was not enough to salvage his outfit from a defeat.

Rak-Sakyi has been impressive for Rizespor in the Turkish top-flight this season, scoring three goals in three appearances for the club.
