Ghana midfielder Elisha Owusu has publicly thanked compatriot Ibrahim Osman for his contributions during the winger's loan spell at French club Auxerre, praising both his performances and his character.

Osman's time at Auxerre may have been shorter than anticipated, but his impact left a lasting impression on teammates and staff. Speaking to 3Sports, Owusu did not hold back in expressing his appreciation.

"He is a top guy, always positive and hard-working. I thank him for what he did for us," Owusu said.

The Ghanaian winger recorded 10 goal involvements during his stint, bringing pace, creativity, and directness to Auxerre's attack. Whether starting or coming off the bench, his energy and enthusiasm consistently lifted the squad.

Owusu also highlighted Osman's professionalism during a period when his future at the club became uncertain.

"Sometimes things don't go as planned in football. He trained well and brought good energy to the dressing room," he added.

Osman, who began his journey at Ghana's Right to Dream Academy before moving to FC Nordsjaelland and then Feyenoord, has now joined Birmingham City as he continues his upward trajectory. His time at Auxerre, though brief, clearly left a mark on those who played alongside him.
