Teamwork and aggression will bring out the best in Kotoko - Karim Zito
· GhanaSoccernetKarim Zito believes Asante Kotoko can return to their best form if his players stay united and play with aggression.
The Porcupine Warriors coach made this clear as his side prepares for their Week 20 clash against Holy Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, January 25. Kick-off is set for 3:30 pm.
Kotoko are coming into the game after a difficult three-match winless run, a situation that has slowed their push for the 2025/26 league title. Despite the setback, Zito remains positive and insists the team is still working hard to achieve its goals.
“Even if it is more I would take it because I think they did very well and they pushed till we got that goal, which was not allowed or which was not taken by the referee," he told AKSC TV.
"So I'm very happy that we change the scenario and then the attitude was changed and everybody saw the type of players we having. I see we having the best players in Ghana. They only have to team and then change the mentality and you see the best out of them,”
Holy Stars, meanwhile, have managed just one win in their last three games and will be hoping for a better result as they fight to avoid relegation.
