Didi Dramani anticipates ‘tough’ game against ’direct’ All Blacks
· GhanaSoccernetHearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani expects a demanding contest when his side travel to face Swedru All Blacks in their Week 10 league fixture on Saturday.
The former Ghana assistant coach issued the warning as the Phobians prepare to respond from last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko in Accra.
Hearts of Oak sit fourth with 16 points, while All Blacks occupy 15th place with seven points ahead of the meeting at the Swedru Stadium.
Speaking in his pre-match interview, Dramani described the hosts as a side that pose clear tactical threats which Hearts must manage with precision.
He said, “They are very tough opponents, you know, very direct opponents, very strong also in transitions, so we need to do as much as possible to make the right decisions in terms of stopping their transitional play.”
He added that All Blacks’ pace in attack demands careful attention.
“We also have to look at where they have a very fast, you know, attacking line, and we try as much as possible to open them up and then try to find the possibilities of staying in the right positions and making the right decisions.”
Hearts of Oak will aim to regain momentum as they push to keep pace with the league’s early leaders.
