· GhanaSoccernetExperienced Ghanaian coach, Kobina Amissah, has expressed his excitement after being appointed as the new head coach of Bechem United.
The experienced tactician, renowned for guiding several Division One League clubs to Premier League promotion, was officially unveiled by the Hunters on Wednesday, November 5.
“The wait is over! The experienced gaffer KOBINA AMISSAH is now officially at the helm as our Head Coach!
“Let’s welcome him and get ready for an exciting journey ahead,” an official statement from Bechem United said.
In his first interview since taking charge, Coach Kobina Amissah shared his enthusiasm about returning to the club, promising to work tirelessly with his technical team to revive Bechem United’s form.
“I’m very happy to be back to Bechem; I have been here before, so the feeling is good. For my first game, it’s going to be a very difficult situation for me, but we’ll give our best to turn things around,” he said in an interview with Bechem United TV.
The highly-rated tactician has taken charge of a Bechem United side that has struggled to compete since the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign commenced.
The team currently sits in the relegation zone with just six points, having won just one match, drawn three, and lost four in their first eight matches of the season.
Amissah’s first test will come against Young Apostles, as he looks to begin his tenure with a winning start and restore confidence among Bechem United supporters.
