Coach Mingle Ocansey confident Black Galaxies will test South Africa in friendly

Black Galaxies head coach Kassim Mingle Ocansey has played down pressure ahead of Ghana’s international friendly against South Africa.

He expressed confidence that his team will offer a strong challenge to Bafana Bafana.

Speaking before the match, Ocansey described the fixture as a valuable test for his side, stressing that the focus remains on development rather than results.

“This game is an opportunity for the Black Galaxies to show that they are a very good side. I am pleased to have this friendly, but my team is not under any pressure. We believe in building, and that is exactly what we are doing,” he said.

The Black Galaxies face South Africa at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Tuesday, with kick-off scheduled for 2:00 pm Ghana time.
