Semper Fi seek momentum against Golden Warriors after ending winless run

Semper Fi will look to build on their comeback victory over Golden Kick when they take on Golden Warriors on Saturday at the Kukurantumi Ohene Park in the Access Bank Division One League.

The win ended a difficult seven-match run without success, a period marked by draws and defeats. Semper Fi had to dig deep to secure the result, recovering from two goals down to claim all three points and restore confidence within the squad.

Coach Moses Adjin-Tettey acknowledged the recent struggles but believes the turnaround can serve as a springboard for improvement.

"We have had some difficult results with defeats and draws, but in our last game, we got the win against Golden Kick, and we are trying to build on it. We have a lot of injuries, and you could see we introduced new faces in that match, but fortunately, we have great depth, so we are dealing with the situation. I appreciate the fans and encourage them to keep coming, as they have done even when the results were not positive," he said.

Semper Fi currently sit second in the Zone Three standings and remain firmly in contention for promotion to the Ghana Premier League. After enduring a challenging spell, the comeback win has injected renewed belief into the team as they approach a crucial phase of the campaign.
