Aduana FC defender Abubakar Adams has stressed that the team is determined to end the 2025/26 football season with a trophy.

The team currently sits fifth in the Ghana Premier League standings with 42 points and trails league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars by nine points.

Although the side can still clinch the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the season, the points gap makes it very difficult.

Elsewhere in the MTN FA Cup, Aduana FC’s chances of lifting the title are quite high. The team has reached the semi-finals of the competition and needs just two more wins to be crowned champions.

According to Abubakar Adams, players are ready to fight to the end to ensure they lift one of the two trophies.

“We don’t want to end the season without a trophy, so we are taking it game after game. We have the players, and we are confident we have what it takes to fight for every trophy,” Adams told Aduana FC TV.

To keep hopes of winning the Ghana Premier League title alive, Aduana FC will need to beat Gold Stars on Friday, April 10, when the two teams lock horns in their Week 29 fixture.
