Heart of Lions striker Kwame Obeng Jnr talks tough, warns Hearts of Oak ahead of epic clash on Friday

Heart of Lions striker Kwame Obeng Jnr is confident about his side's chances against giants Hearts of Oak in the Premier League on Friday January 31, 2025. 

The 21-year-old will line up against his former club in the capital, seeking to inflict defeat against the Phobians at the University of Ghana Stadium.  Kick off 19:00 GMT.

Despite scoring just two goals in 16 matches, Kwame Obeng Jnr is not oblivious of the enormity of the task but insists they are well prime to deliver victory on the road.

“Everything is fine with us here and Hearts of Oak is a big club that you need to prepare for when getting ready to face them. The match set for Friday, we are prepared to face them and our preparation has been good so far."

“The whole of the week, our training has been very intensive and we are all ready to go and face Hearts of Oak. So whatever will help us to win, we shall do it," Obeng told the club’s media outlet."

Obeng Junior was a key member of the Hearts of Oak Premier League and FA Cup title winning squad under former coach Samuel Boadu.
