Antoine Semenyo has revealed that the warm reception he received upon joining Manchester City played a key role in his blistering start at the club.

The Ghana forward, recently named Premier League Player of the Month for February, opened up about the factors behind his seamless transition to life at the Etihad.

"I've been made to feel welcome from day one, which has helped me stay focused and give my best on the pitch," Semenyo said.

The 26-year-old arrived during the winter transfer window and has hit the ground running, scoring three goals and providing one assist in five league appearances to claim his first Player of the Month award.

Semenyo credited the club's environment for allowing him to settle quickly and concentrate on his football.

"It's been such an amazing start to life at this club. I'm learning so much every day, and I honestly feel I'm already a better player."

The former Bournemouth and Bristol City forward now has 15 Premier League goals for the season—the most prolific campaign of his career—trailing only Erling Haaland and Igor Thiago in the Golden Boot race.

With City pushing for silverware on multiple fronts, Semenyo's integration could hardly have gone smoother.
