Berekum Chelsea to face Young Apostles in MTN FA Cup Round of 32 clash

Berekum Chelsea will host Young Apostles in an all-Ghana Premier League clash in the MTN FA Cup Round of 32 at the Golden City Park on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

The New Year’s Eve encounter sees both sides aiming for a place in the Round of 16 after successfully navigating the previous stage. Berekum Chelsea reached this round with a 2-1 win over Zone One B leaders Debibi United, while Young Apostles progressed after defeating Dormaa Unity in the Round of 64.

In the league, Berekum Chelsea sit 14th with 18 points, three points behind Young Apostles, who occupy ninth place after 16 matches. With little separating the two sides, a closely contested match is expected.

Elsewhere, FC Samartex 1996 will face third-tier side Debiso Soccer Lions at the Nsenkyire Arena in Samreboi, following their 2-0 victory over Sekondi Eleven Wise in the previous round.

Former champions Dreams FC continue their Cup campaign after edging Semper FI 2-1, while Nations FC are set to battle FC AshantiGold ’04 at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Earlier, Attram De Visser advanced to the Round of 16 after beating Port City 4-2 on penalties following a goalless draw.
