2025/26 Ghana Premier League: Week 28 Match Preview - Heart of Lions vs Vision FC

Heart of Lions will welcome Vision FC at the Kpando Sports Stadium with hopes of return to winning ways after dropping to 13th position in the league despite a good start to the campaign. 

For a team considered as one of the favourite going into the current campaign, Lions started the season dominating the early stages but have seen a nosedive which could ultimately cost them their survival.

The former Top 4 winners are just two points away from the drop zone and face in-form Vision FC, who are also not completely out of the relegation battle.

While Heart of Lions have won only one of their last five matches, Vision FC have lost only one, winning two and drawing two.

Lions' only win came on March 8 in the game against Swedru All Blacks.

However, the record between the two sides have been even since they first met in the Ghana Premier League. In three matches, there is still no win between the two sides, all their meetings have ended in a draw.

Heart of Lions will rely on experience captain Ebenezer Abban to lead from the back while Michael Ephson and Etse Dogli star upfront.

Meanwhile, Vision FC will depend on Sowah Adjetey, who is having a good campaign alongside former Legon Cities player Alidu Mohammed.

The game is expected to be keenly contested with both sides seeking a positive result to keep their survival hopes alive.
