Didi Dramani urges Hearts of Oak hierarchy to resolve transfer ban on the club

Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has expressed hope that the club’s ongoing transfer ban will be lifted soon.

The Phobian Club is currently barred from signing or selling players after failing to settle unpaid wages owed to former technical director Rene Hiddink.

The Dutch coach, who joined the club in 2023 but departed after just eight months, took the matter to FIFA following what he described as the unfair termination of his contract.

FIFA ruled in Hiddink’s favour, ordering Hearts of Oak to pay $150,000 within 90 days. However, the club has yet to comply, resulting in a ban covering the next three transfer windows.

Speaking to Asempa FM, Dramani acknowledged the challenges posed by the situation but said he remains focused on his work with the team.

"My work on the pitch while the hierarchy of the club is dealing with external issues, but then I hope the transfer ban will be resolved so I can bring in players who can help strengthen the team," he said.
