Hearts of Oak coach Didi Dramani stresses importance of learning from opponents to improve performance

The head coach of Hearts of Oak, Didi Dramani, has stressed that it is important his team continues to take lessons from every match they play in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.

The coach and his side are unbeaten in the first four league matches and currently sit third in the league table with eight points from a possible 12.

Speaking ahead of Hearts of Oak’s Week 5 encounter against Heart of Lions, Didi Dramani noted that his team is growing and is learning from opponents to improve their performance in the upcoming games.

“A lot of lessons are always learned from every game that we play. We pick up lessons and also the challenges we envisage in games. We don’t joke with the aspect of learning. We learn from our opponents and we learn from our own team,” Didi Dramani told Hearts TV.

The coach added, “The lessons we learn are that we need to take care of the ball very well and we need to take advantage of created opportunities. We must turn opportunities into changes, and so a lot has been learnt, and I think we need to work on our last ending of the game.”

The Week 5 league encounter between Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions will be played on Monday, October 13.
