Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa Benjamin Quashie rallies Asante Kotoko in Durban ahead of Kaizer Chiefs clash

Ghana’s Ambassador to South Africa, Benjamin Kofi Quashie, brought warm encouragement and national pride to Asante Kotoko’s camp in Durban ahead of their high-profile Toyota Cup match against Kaizer Chiefs this Saturday.

With the Moses Mabhida Stadium set for a showdown that transcends club rivalry, Ambassador Quashie met the Porcupine Warriors at their base to boost morale before kickoff.

"You are here to lift the flag of Ghana high like Nana rightly said it is Asante Kotoko vs Kaizer Chiefs it is more or less Ghana against South Africa. We all know the Porcupine Warriors have always been the team the everybody is proud of. And I have no doubt that tomorrow you are going to lift high the flag of Ghana and also the flag of Asante Kotoko," he told Asante Kotoko SC media.

Kotoko completed their final training session at Princess Magogo Stadium with confidence.

The much-anticipated fixture between two of Africa’s football giants kicks off at 13:00 GMT at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium.
