Karim Zito hails Hubert Gyau's progress at Asante Kotoko
· GhanaSoccernetAsante Kotoko coach Abdul Karim Zito has hailed the progress of midfielder Hubert Gyau in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
Since he arrived from Berekum Chelsea, Gyau has established himself as an integral member of the Kotoko set-up.
The promising midfielder grabbed the headlines with a superlative performance after he netted a brace against Karela United on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium as Kotoko secured a 4-2 win.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s Super Clash against Hearts of Oak in the Matchday 9 games, Zito commended Gyau for the brilliant goals and added that he is happy with Gyau’s progress.
“He is improving, gradually improving. He has his way of playing, but you can’t use your own way in a team, so I told him to play with the team, and then I told him where to go individually," he said.
“I wasn’t surprised [with his performance against Karela], but I was very happy, especially with his second goal, it was so fantastic," Zito added.
Kick off for the game is scheduled at 16:00 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
