2024 WAFCON: Sannie Daara confident of win ahead of Black Queens' clash with Mali
· GhanaSoccernetFormer Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ibrahim Sannie Daara, has backed the Black Queens ahead of their clash against Mali.
Ghana will clash with the Eagles in their second Group C game in the ongoing 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) today.
Despite opening their campaign with a defeat against defending champions, South Africa, on Monday, Sannie Daara believes the team will record their first win against the Malians.
"Black Queens are a work in progress, and so losing against South Africa is not an issue, but against Mali, I believe we can win that game," he told Asempa FM.
The much-anticipated game will be staged at the Stade Municipal de Berkane. Kick off for the game is scheduled at 16:00GMT.
Black Queens will wrap up their group phase game against Tanzania on Monday.
