Didi Dramani stays positive after Hearts of Oak draw with Hohoe United
· GhanaSoccernetHearts of Oak coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani remained calm and upbeat after his side’s goalless draw with Hohoe United in the opening match of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani had every reason to expect a winning start after a strong pre-season, and his side showed flashes of quality. Midfielder Abdul Karim controlled much of the play in the first half, while forward Frank Abora Duku kept the visitors’ defenders on edge with his movement and pace.
Despite dominating possession, Hearts could not find the breakthrough, and Hohoe United stood firm in their first-ever Premier League outing. The newly promoted side earned respect for their discipline and resilience, leaving Hearts frustrated at the final whistle.
"There is a lot we can change. We will find the right solutions. The energy and performance today was good," he said after the game.
"We just needed small adjustments in the final third. I believe they played with courage and kept our identity. We just needed the cutting edge," he added.
