English-Ghanaian forward Michelle Agyemang has won the 2025 Golden Girl award.

The award given to the best player under the age of 21 will be presented to the Lionesses striker on December 1, 2025, when the main ceremony is held.

Agyemang, who missed the Kopa Trophy at the 2025 Ballon d'Or, has been recognised for her immense contribution during the Euro Women's Championship.

The Arsenal forward, who has been on loan at Brighton, scored two goals as England successfully defended their title in Switzerland.

She becomes the fourth English player to win the best young player award after Wayne Rooney, Raheem Sterling and Jude Bellingham.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint Germain's Desire Doue won the Golden Boy award, beating Barcelona's Lamine Yamal, the Kopa Trophy winner.

Agyemang will miss the rest of the 2024/25 season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

The Golden Boy and Girl award was created by Italian newspaper Tuttosport, and are decided by a poll of 50 selected sports journalists from across Europe.
