Ghana head coach Otto Addo has handed debut Black Stars call-ups to four new players for the upcoming international friendly matches against Austria and Germany.

The new additions to the Black Stars squad are Derrick Luckassen, Patrick Pfeiffer, Marvin Senaya and Daniel Agyei, all included in the 26-man list for the two preparatory matches ahead of the next FIFA World Cup.

Luckassen, a central defender who currently plays for Pafos FC in Cyprus, developed through the academy of AZ Alkmaar and has enjoyed a well-travelled career across Europe.

The defender has previously featured for PSV Eindhoven, Hertha BSC, RSC Anderlecht, KasımpaÅŸa, Fatih Karagümrük and Maccabi Tel Aviv. He recently helped Pafos secure the 2024/25 Cypriot league title and also scored the club’s first goal in the UEFA Champions League.

Senaya currently plays in Ligue 1 for AJ Auxerre after earlier spells with RC Strasbourg, FC Sochaux and FC Lausanne Sport. The defender made his professional debut in 2021 and has gradually built his reputation in French football.

Agyei operates as a forward and winger for Turkish side Kocaelispor. Born in England, he previously played for Leyton Orient, Crewe Alexandra, Oxford United and Burnley before making the move to Turkey.

Pfeiffer, meanwhile, is a defender with SV Darmstadt 98 in the 2. Bundesliga and adds further depth to Ghana’s defensive options.

Ghana will play Austria in Vienna on March 27 before travelling to Stuttgart to face Germany on March 30, 2026.
