Polish side Legia Warsaw join hunt for Ghanaian striker Jalal Abdullai

Ghanaian striker Jalal Abdullai could be on the move again, with Polish giants Legia Warsaw reportedly showing interest in the 21-year-old, GHANAsoccernet.com can report 

Abdullai, who recently returned to IF Elfsborg after a loan spell in Norway, has started pre-season preparations with the Swedish Allsvenskan side, but a host of European clubs are keen on securing his signature.

Since joining Elfsborg from Ghanaian outfit Inter Allies FC in the summer of 2023, Abdullai has impressed with his pace, movement, and finishing ability.

Last year, he spent a loan period at Molde FK, who reportedly considered a permanent deal after his successful stint in Norway.

Despite this, Abdullai returned to Boras Arena at the end of the season and remains contracted to Elfsborg until 2028.

Interest in the Ghanaian forward has been widespread, with clubs such as FC Copenhagen, FC Midtjylland, Genk, Anderlecht, Middlesbrough, and Preston North End previously linked with him.

Now, Legia have reportedly joined the list, signaling strong competition for his signature should Elfsborg decide to cash in.

Abdullai’s technical ability, combined with his versatility in attack, makes him an attractive prospect for European clubs.

As the January transfer window progresses, it remains to be seen whether he will stay in Sweden or take the next step in his career elsewhere.
