FA Cup Round of 16: John Antwi geared up to lead Dreams FC to victory against Inter Allies
· GhanaSoccernetDreams FC captain John Antwi is keen on leading the team past Inter Allies into the MTN FA Cup quarter-finals.
The experienced striker is expected to start for the Still Believe outfit on Sunday, February 8, when they take on Inter Allies in the FA Cup Round of 16.
John Antwi will be going into the game after scoring a brace in Dreams FC’s 2-2 stalemate against Vision FC in the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking in a pre-match interview after that game, the striker urged his teammates focus on building on the positives from the draw to ensure they beat Inter Allies in the next outing.
“It was a good game. We came in with a winning mentality. We played according to the tactics of the coach. Unfortunately, we were up by two goals, and we had to concede and take one point. Overall, I think it was a good game.
“The plan is we go back to correct our mistakes, work on the good side of the game and go into the next game to win,” Antwi said.
The MTN FA Cup Round of 16 clash between Dreams FC and Inter Allies is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at Tuba AstroTurf on Sunday.
