Comparing Black Queens eras is unfair - Samira Suleman
· GhanaSoccernetFormer Black Queens striker Samira Suleman says she cannot compare her era to the current generation, noting that football has changed with time and circumstances.
Suleman, who captained the Black Queens during her playing days, has just added another milestone to her career by completing the UEFA A Diploma coaching course. The achievement comes a year after she earned a UEFA Certificate in Football Management, showing her commitment to developing herself beyond the pitch.
Suleman reflected on how women’s football in Ghana has evolved.
"Such comparison just as I said it is sometimes hard time changes so as time goes forward then everything also goes forward. The time I was playing the is a little difference now if you look at the players side today players a lot of them have gotten the opportunity to play in Europe," she told Peace FM as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com
"So I will say that they are really developing very well in our era we did all we can we tried our best and I see it like this now I cant really compare the two. But during our time we did our part and today the team is also doing their part so I will say that is how it is. So far the team has improved there has been an improvement you can see more visibility more a lot of things are happening just like I said.
"As time goes forward I see that authorities are taking initiatives and working hard to let the women team to develop and progressing very well,"
