2025/26 Ghana Premier League: Week 24 Match Preview- Basake Holy Stars vs Heart of Lions

Basake Holy Stars will hosts Heart of Lions on matchday 24 of the Ghana Premier League with hopes of extending their flawless home form. 

After three home wins on a row, Holy Stars will face an inconsistent Heart of Lions at the AAK II Arena on Sunday.

Holy Stars have won three of their last five matches, keeping them three points clear of the drop zone while Lions continue to slip down the table with only two wins in the same run of games.

Despite Holy Stars' recent form, they are yet to beat Heart of Lions in the league after three games. The Kpando-based club have won two and drawn one of their three meetings.

Red-hot winger Prince Tweneboah and former Ghana youth international Sylvester Simba will lead the line for Holy Stars.

However, they will face a tough backline from Lions, including the evergreen Ebenezer Abban.

Both teams desperately need the victory to boost their season ambitions, with Holy Stars hoping to drift further away from the relegation zone.
