Brighton agree £21.5m deal for Nigerian wonderkid Zadok Yohanna
· GhanaSoccernetBrighton have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated Nigerian winger Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm for £21.5 million.
The 18-year-old is expected to complete the move when the summer transfer window opens on June 15, signing a five-year contract with the Premier League club.
Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler welcomed the youngster's arrival, describing him as an exciting attacking talent with the ability to influence matches in the final third.
"I'm looking forward to working with Zadok," Hurzeler said.
"Having watched him play and studied his qualities, we believe he is a player who can make a real impact in attacking areas. He is still very young and will need time to adapt to both the club and the Premier League, but he is an exciting talent and brings the kind of creativity our supporters will enjoy watching."
Yohanna joined AIK Stockholm from Nigeria's Ikon Allah Football Academy and quickly established himself as one of the club's brightest prospects.
Since making his debut in August 2025, he has contributed five goals and four assists in 18 appearances for the Swedish side, attracting interest from several clubs across Europe before Brighton secured his signature.
