GPL: Medeama players keen on winning more games after ending poor run – Ibrahim Tanko
· GhanaSoccernetThe head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko, has disclosed that his players are determined to win upcoming games after ending their poor run in the Ghana Premier League.
The Yellow and Mauves defeated Eleven Wonders a week ago to end a run of six matches in the division without a victory.
Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of his team’s next game against Bechem United, Ibrahim Tanko emphasised that it was important to take all three points from the last game, adding that it has brought some relief.
“It's always good to have a win when you go, like you said, five, six games without a win, but I think, and this win will push us, and this win will bring the confidence back. And looking at the training this weekend, I'm sure that the boys have also realised what we have to do to come back to the winning way. So definitely, we are working on it, a bit of relief going back to the top of the league,” Tanko told Medi TV.
The Ghana Premier League Week 28 fixture between Bechem United and Medeama SC is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm on Saturday, April 4, at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
