GPL: We will beat Heart of Lions if we play to our coach’s instruction – Hearts of Oak defender Baba Adamu

Hearts of Oak defender Baba Adamu is optimistic the team will overcome Heart of Lions in their upcoming Ghana Premier League fixture to amass all three points.

After failing to win any of their last three matches in the league, there is pressure on the Phobians to deliver when they make the trip to Kpando for their Week 26 fixture.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, Baba Adamu assured supporters that the team is ready for the task ahead.

While he acknowledges the quality in the Heart of Lions team, the defender believes Hearts of Oak will be victorious if the players listen to Didi Dramani’s instructions and adhere to the matchday game plan.

“We have prepared so well for this game. Heart of Lions, they are a very good side, and we know that. Anyone who plays against Hearts of Oak is always hungry. There is nothing special we can do. We need to go according to our plan, attack the spaces and do what the gaffer asks us to do. I’m sure at the end of the day we will carry the day,” Adamu said.

The Week 26 fixture between Heart of Lions and Hearts of Oak is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Kpando Sports Stadium on Friday, March 20.
