'I'm really excited about the final part of the season' – Antoine Semenyo looks ahead after award win

Antoine Semenyo has declared his excitement for the season's decisive weeks after collecting his first Premier League Player of the Month award following a stellar February.

The Ghana forward scored three goals and provided one assist in five league appearances to claim the honour, seeing off competition from several top contenders. It marked another milestone in what has already been a transformative campaign for the 26-year-old.

"This is a brilliant moment for me. To win the Premier League Player of the Month award so soon after joining City is something I'll never forget," Semenyo said.

But the former Bournemouth striker made clear that individual recognition takes a back seat to what lies ahead.

Semenyo has 15 Premier League goals this term—the most prolific campaign of his career—trailing only Erling Haaland and Igor Thiago in the Golden Boot race. With City competing on multiple fronts, his form could prove decisive in the weeks ahead.
