Medeama coach Ibrahim Tanko has highlighted the mentality of Salim Adams as key to the club's title charge ahead of their upcoming clash with Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday. 

Adams has been central to Medeama’s success this season, delivering goals and consistent performances that have pushed the club to the top of the Ghana Premier League standings.

Following his match-winning brace against Bibiani Gold Stars, Tanko emphasised the midfielder’s mental strength as a major asset.

“He is one player who is strong mentally, so I hope he will stay fit and keep giving us the goals we need,” he said.

The coach also acknowledged the growing attention around Adams, including calls for a place in the Black Stars squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Medeama now turn their focus to a crucial away fixture against Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday, May 6, as they look to maintain their advantage in the title race.
