Former Ghana captain Andre Ayew has expressed his delight after helping NAC Breda secure back-to-back victories in the Dutch Eredivisie, as the club fights to avoid relegation.

The experienced forward started and played the full 90 minutes in Saturday's narrow 1-0 win over FC Volendam at the Rat Verlegh Stadion, his second consecutive complete performance following last week's triumph.

Ayew has now been on the pitch for every minute of NAC's current winning streak, underlining his growing influence since arriving at the club.

Before Ayew's arrival, NAC Breda had last recorded consecutive league wins back in December 2024. The 36-year-old's presence has brought stability and experience to a side desperate for points at the wrong end of the table.
