Medeama SC take control of Ghana Premier League title race after Week 29

The team put up an impressive performance in their last match against Asante Kotoko, thumping the opponent 4-0 in a one-sided encounter staged at the TnA Stadium.
With Gold Stars losing 2-1 to Aduana FC, Medeama SC capitalised to reclaim the top spot in the league standings.
Now on 53 points after 29 matches, the Yellow and Mauves are in control of the title race but must ensure they win all remaining five matches to guarantee they lift the title at the end of the season.
While Medeama SC and Gold Stars, separated by two points, appear to be the favourites for the league title, Hearts of Oak and Aduana FC in third and fourth places respectively, can mathematically also claim the trophy.
Dreams FC, Holy Stars, and Heart of Lions remain among the midtable clubs while Berekum Chelsea, Hohoe United, and Eleven Wonders occupy the relegation spots ahead of Week 30.
