Semper Fi stage another comeback to beat Golden Warriors away

Semper Fi staged another spirited comeback to claim an impressive away victory over Golden Warriors at the Kukurantumi Ohene Park in the Access Bank Division One League on Saturday.

Attacker Francis Eshun proved decisive, scoring twice in the second half to turn the game on its head and secure all three points for the visitors in their promotion bid in Zone III.

The home side had taken an early lead through Maxwell Quainoo, whose opener set the tone and placed Semper Fi under pressure in the opening exchanges. However, the visitors once again demonstrated resilience, regrouping after the break to mount a strong response.

Eshun emerged as the match-winner, netting two crucial goals to complete the turnaround and seal yet another comeback success for Semper Fi, a result that underlines their growing belief in the promotion race.

The victory reduces the gap at the top of the table to three points, although leaders Port City still hold the advantage of two games in hand.
