Bechem United’s new head coach, Kobina Amissah, has pledged to strengthen his team’s attacking power as they prepare for their Week 9 Ghana Premier League clash against Young Apostles on Sunday.

Amissah, who recently took charge of the Hunters, believes the team has shown good signs but must become more clinical in front of goal.

Speaking to Bechem United TV, he shared his thoughts on the team’s recent performances and his plans to fix their scoring struggles.

“The team I have watched many of their games and I was impressed with their performance but the only thing that is left is how we can put the ball in the back of the net. That is what we are coming to work on so that in the next games we can see the goals flowing. From the little that I’ve seen the players are also hungry to give us the goals so definitely the team will change,” he said.

Bechem United has endured a challenging start to the campaign, recording just one win, two draws, and two defeats in their last five games. Bechem sits 16th in the Ghana Premier League table with six points from eight matches. Despite the rough patch, the mood in camp remains positive, with the players eager to deliver a better performance.

Sunday’s match, set to kick off at 3 p.m., presents a crucial opportunity for the Hunters to regain momentum and secure a morale-boosting win for their fans.
