Ghana forward Felix Afena-Gyan nets late winner for Amedspor in 1-0 triumph over Vanspor FK

The youngster made the matchday squad for the Round 27 encounter but missed out on a place in the starting eleven.
In the 68th minute, when the scoreline was level, his manager Mesut Bakkal brought him on as a substitute, replacing Bulgarian forward Zdravko Dimitrov.
Immediately after coming on, Afena-Gyan injected pace and energy into the attack of Amedspor, running at defenders and showing intent to make things happen.
Late in the 94th minute, the Ghanaian was presented with a fine opportunity and made no mistake, slotting the ball in the back of the net to secure a dramatic, narrow victory for the home team. He was assisted by Daniel Moreno.
With his goal on Monday night, Afena-Gyan now has two goals in the Turkish Lig 1 and has also provided five assists.
He is playing his part to help Amedspor in their push for promotion to the Turkish Super Lig.
