Former Premier League star Andre Ayew links up with NAC Breda squad after signing contract

Former Premier League star Andre Ayew has joined head coach Carl Hoefkens’ squad with immediate effect after signing with NAC Breda until the end of the season.

The 36-year-old Ghanaian forward will link up with his new teammates when the club resumes training on Friday, January 2, at the BO Infra Training Complex in Zundert, as preparations begin for the second half of the Eredivisie campaign.

Ayew arrives with extensive top-level experience, having enjoyed a long career across France, England, and Turkey, alongside more than a decade of service with the Ghana national team.

The former Black Stars captain has featured for clubs such as Marseille, Swansea City, West Ham United, Nottingham Forest, and Le Havre, building a reputation for leadership and consistency at the highest level.

His short-term deal reflects NAC’s immediate focus on strengthening the squad for the remainder of the season, with Ayew expected to play a key role both on the pitch and in the dressing room as the club pushes for top-flight survival.
