GPL: Hearts of Oak determined to secure a win from Heart of Lions clash – Didi Dramani

Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has disclosed that his side is determined to secure a win in their upcoming Ghana Premier League encounter against Heart of Lions.

The two clubs will lock horns on Friday, March 20, in a Week 26 fixture of the ongoing 2025/26 league campaign.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, Didi Dramani admitted that Heart of Lions will give his team a tough test but expressed optimism in his team’s chances of securing an important result.

“Heart of Lions are one of the toughest opponents in the league. They are very compact, and they are very aggressive. They are a ball-playing side. And so, we need to really be strong in our second actions. We need to be very, very decisive in terms of closing up central spaces, and we need to be very, very intense in terms of our pressing situations,” Didi Dramani told Hearts TV.

He continued, “And then we need to be very quick in getting out into spaces that we find, and I think that we acknowledge their strengths, but we are going to play to try as much as possible to come back with a very important result.”

The Week 26 fixture between Heart of Lions and Hearts of Oak is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
