2025/26 Ghana Premier League: Week 16 Match Preview - Young Apostles vs Aduana FC
· GhanaSoccernetLeague leaders Aduana FC will make a short trip to Wenchi to face local rivals Young Apostles FC on matchday 16 of the Ghana Premier League.
Aduana FC have seen their lead at the top of the table reduced after a run of two wins in their last five games.
Despite leading the log, they are on same points with second-place Hearts of Oak, who have played a game more.
Meanwhile, Young Apostles are enjoying a decent first round, sitting comfortably in ninth place with 20 points after 15 games.
The Wenchi-based club will be hoping to record more wins before the second round begins after securing only one victory in their last five matches.
Young Apostles are only five points away from the drop zone and eight points from the summit.
The two sides have met twice in the Premier League, with Young Apostle winning one while the other match ended in a draw.
Aduana FC have reportedly included former Accra Lions winger Daniel Awuni to their roster as they bolster their squad for the second round.
However, they will be depending on the experience of Bright Agyei, Anokye Badu and Charles Kamara.
Young Apostle will however count on Issah Husseine and Richmond Opoku for inspiration.
The hosts have been strong at home this season, but Aduana FC have had some good run on the road in the ongoing campaign.
