Nations FC comfortable scoring in the MTN FA Cup than in the Ghana Premier League – Frimpong Manso
· GhanaSoccernetThe head coach of Nations FC, Frimpong Manso, is upbeat ahead of their MTN FA Cup semi-final clash against Aduana FC.
The Abrankese-based club has been on fire in the cup competition this season, winning all four matches and scoring seven goals.
Assessing his team’s performance so far, Frimpong Manso expressed confidence in Nations FC’s chances of beating Aduana FC, particularly because he believes his side finds it easier to score in the FA Cup than in the Ghana Premier League.
“This is one of the matches that we have been looking forward to because looking at the way we started. We have played four games, and we have won four games. We have scored seven goals, and we have conceded two. So, if we look at the MTN FA Cup, we are scoring more, and we are conceding less. To play in the semi-finals means a lot to us.
“We are comfortable scoring in the FA Cup games, so we are looking forward to the same thing, although this game will be difficult. We expect a difficult game, but we are hoping to win this game too,” Manso told Nations FC TV.
The MTN FA Cup semi-final encounter between Nations FC and Aduana FC is scheduled for Friday, April 17. The match will kick off at 3 pm at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
