Medeama SC coach Ibrahim Tanko 100% confident of winning Ghana Premier League

The Yellow and Mauve’s advantage at the summit of the domestic top-flight table was slashed to just three points after dropping points in the week 23 clash against Samartex 1996 last Sunday.
Despite the draw, Medeama remain top of the table with 45 points, followed closely by Bibiani Gold Stars FC with 42 points, after 23 matches into the campaign.
As Medeama gears up for their clash against Swedru All Blacks, the former Black Stars assistant gaffer has expressed optimism about his outfit clinching the league title at the end of the season.
“We’re sitting at the top of the table with a three-point advantage. Our focus has to remain on ourselves" he told the club's media.
Quizzed about the sides’ commitment to winning the league title this season, Tanko replied, “100% — all of us, including the board and management, are fully committed. We are moving forward with the belief and confidence that, at the end of the season, we will win the league.” He said.
The Yellow and Mauve secured their maiden Ghana Premier League title two seasons under then coach Augustine Evans Adotey.
