Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo reaches 100 appearances for Bournemouth
· GhanaSoccernetGhana international Antoine Semenyo has chalked a piece of milestone for himself after reaching a century of official matches for Premier League outfit, AFC Bournemouth.
The Black Stars forward played his 100th game for the Cherries last Saturday, with the side succumbing to a 3-1 defeat to giants Manchester City.
Semenyo started and played full throttle at the Etihad Stadium, but could do little about his outfit defeat to the former Champions League winners.
The Ghanaian attacker, who joined Bournemouth in January 2023 from Bristol City has established himself as an important member to the club. Out of the 100 appearances, Semenyo has racked up 28 goals and delivered 13 assists for the Cherries.
The 25-year-old, who has become a top transfer target scored 8 goals in his first season for the Premier League side before netting 11 times in his second campaign (2024/25 season).
With six goals already this season, Semenyo is just five strikes away from matching his record from last season, delivering three assists to his name in eleven appearances.
Despite huge interest, Semenyo remains under contract at Bournemouth until summer 2023, having recently signed a new deal at the club.
