Ghanaian youngster Daniel Nunoo nets first Austrian Bundesliga goal in Rapid Wien win

Ghanaian youngster Daniel Nunoo marked a significant milestone in his budding European career after netting his first goal for Austrian giants SK Rapid Wien in their 2-0 victory over Wolfsberger AC on Saturday evening.

The Austrian Bundesliga encounter, played at the Allianz Stadion in Vienna, saw Rapid dominate proceedings before eventually breaking the deadlock in the second half.

After a goalless first half, Austrian midfielder Matthias Seidl handed the hosts the advantage in the 72nd minute, finishing off a well-worked move with an assist from Petter Dahl.

Nunoo, who had been introduced in the 62nd minute to inject fresh energy into Rapid’s attack, made an instant impact.
