Accra Sports Stadium has the best pitch in Ghana - Didi Dramani

Didi Dramani has praised the quality of the pitch at the Accra Sports Stadium, describing it as the best in the country following Hearts of Oak’s recent league win.

Dramani made the remarks after Hearts secured a 1-0 victory over Young Apostles in their Ghana Premier League clash on Sunday, noting how the playing surface contributed to the team’s performance.

Hearts have only recently returned to the Accra Sports Stadium after playing most of their home matches this season at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon.

“The Accra Sports Stadium has the best pitch in Ghana. If you are a good football-loving person, you want to play on a very good pitch, a good pitch like this, so that you can pass the ball,” Dramani said.

He added that a good surface allows players to express themselves more freely and improves the overall quality of football.

“This is the best pitch that you can have in Ghana. I hope all our pitches in Ghana become like this,” he stated.

The victory keeps Hearts of Oak firmly in the title race, with just five points separating them from the top spot. With six matches remaining, the club will be aiming to maintain their momentum as they push for their first league title since 2021.
