Coach Emmanuel Aidoo has provided a tactical and psychological breakdown of Techiman Eleven Wonders' pivotal 2-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars, a result that breathes new life into their fight for survival.

The win, their second of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, marks a positive start to the second round and lifts the club to nine points.

In his post-match analysis, Aidoo dissected the match's two distinct phases, crediting his team's improved execution after halftime.

"The first half was for them, and they couldn’t make use of their chances," the coach observed. "In the second half, we also took over. In football, you need to take your chances – that’s all."

While acknowledging the importance of the three points, Aidoo was adamant that the team must not let the success distort their focus.

"It feels great, but we still need to work more," he stated, issuing a clear warning against complacency. "We are not going to get swollen-headed because of this win. There are more hurdles to clear. Of course, we are excited, but the work continues."

"We are on a rescue mission," he said. "The slogan is oppression – we need to rescue. Everybody is aware of it. The mission is to escape relegation."
