Black Stars winger Ernest Nuamah has stressed the importance of adapting to head coach Carlos Queiroz's system as Ghana fine-tune preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Speaking from camp in Cardiff ahead of the friendly against Wales, the 22-year-old acknowledged that every coach has a unique approach, and the players' ability to adjust will be key to the team's success.

"Every coach has their style of play, and we need to adapt to his style. That is the most important," Nuamah said.

The winger, who is returning to the national team after a year-long injury layoff, expressed excitement about being back in the squad and praised the dedication of his teammates.

"It's been good. It feels good to be back around the team. Everyone is dedicated. We are all happy and ready to give it all for the competition," he added.

Nuamah also thanked Ghanaians for their prayers and support throughout his recovery, vowing to give his all for the nation at the World Cup.

Ghana have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia. The Black Stars open their campaign against Panama on June 17. For Nuamah, the focus is clear: adapt, work hard, and help Ghana make an impact on the biggest stage.
