Ghanaian winger Issah Abbas has joined Serbian SuperLiga side Radnički NiÅ¡, becoming the club’s latest attacking reinforcement for the new year.

The pacey wide forward arrives at the historic ÄŒair stadium from Jedinstvo Ub, adding freshness and experience to Radnički’s flanks.

“I feel very good, my first impressions are extremely positive. I’ve been here before and I’m happy to be at Radnički. I know the club’s history and it’s an honour to be here. I’m ready and want to give everything to leave my mark. I like the city, the people are pleasant and kind. The club is excellent and I like everything here,” Abbas said after signing.

Abbas brings a rich European CV. He has previously played in Portugal for Chaves, in the Netherlands for Utrecht and Twente, and in Germany with Mainz, before spells in the Balkans at Olimpija Ljubljana and Rijeka.

Abbas has also represented Ghana at under-23 level, and Radnički hope his energy, versatility and international pedigree will lift their ambitions in the second half of the season.
