Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has hailed the superior turf at the Accra Sports Stadium as a potential game-changer for his side ahead of their crucial Matchday 27 encounter against Swedru All Blacks.

The Phobians were forced to return to their traditional home ground following the closure of the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon for essential maintenance.

While venue shifts can often disrupt a team’s rhythm, Dramani has embraced the move, specifically pointing to the lush surface in Accra as the ideal platform for his players to express themselves.

“I think the team switched based on the maintenance works being done at Lagoon. I always look at the quality of the pitch,” Dramani said at a pre-match interview.

“You know, if all the Ghanaian pitches were like what we have at Accra Sports Stadium that would be fantastic.”

Currently sitting fourth in the Ghana Premier League and trailing leaders Bibiani Gold Stars by six points, Hearts of Oak view this "homecoming" as a vital spark for their title charge.

With only eight games remaining in the season, Dramani is confident that the high-quality surface will minimize unforced errors and maximize his team's attacking efficiency as they look to secure all three points on Sunday.
