'We will want to keep the consistency' – Baba Adamu vows Hearts of Oak will maintain winning momentum
· GhanaSoccernetHearts of Oak defender Baba Adamu has declared the Phobians' intention to maintain their winning consistency as they prepare to face Berekum Chelsea on Sunday, building on the momentum from last weekend's Super Clash triumph over Asante Kotoko.
Adamu was the match-winner at Baba Yara Stadium, his looping header securing a 1-0 victory that lifted Hearts from fourth to second place in the Ghana Premier League standings, just five points behind leaders Medeama SC.
Speaking ahead of the Matchday 23 fixture at the University of Ghana Stadium, Adamu emphasized the team's determination to sustain their positive run.
"We are very confident [ahead of the game against Berekum Chelsea], especially after the win we had in the super clash against Kotoko last week," he said.
"It has motivated us so well, and I know we will want to keep the consistency."
"So we are well prepared for that game."
Hearts will face a Berekum Chelsea side currently ranked 14th in the league standings. With confidence high and a clear objective in mind, the Phobians are determined to deliver another strong performance and keep their title charge on track.
