MTN FA Cup: Kotoko Coach Karim Zito charges players to eliminate Aduana FC

Asante Kotoko coach Abdul Karim Zito has laid down a clear directive to his players ahead of their MTN FA Cup clash, charging them to eliminate Aduana FC and prove they are true champions despite a season of struggles.

The Porcupine Warriors, the defending FA Cup holders, enter the Round of 16 tie on Saturday, February 7, under pressure following a disappointing 3-1 league defeat to Kpando Heart of Lions.

With their domestic form inconsistent, Zito has identified the cup as the perfect vehicle to salvage their campaign and restore confidence.

"I told them—my players—we don't have any excuse against Aduana," Zito stated emphatically. "We should do the amendment and improve on the match we played against Heart of Lions."
